Honor conferred by the Colombian Legal Profession during the course of its second International Congress held in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, 2 August 2013 “…in acknowledgment of her brilliant and outstanding professional work and in appreciation of her permanent support and solidarity regarding the academic activities carried out in Colombia with a view to enhancing the Legal Profession and in defense of the Rule of Law”.

Acknowledgment granted by the Order of Lawyers of Paris: Beatriz Martorello was acknowledged among the eight women leaders of the legal profession worldwide in the Magazine of the Order of Lawyers of Paris, March 2013, “Femmes au Barreau, Le Bulletin”. When naming the selected women, including Beatriz Martorello, the Order said: “…in our efforts to promote our development, we support the work carried out by these women who have achieved outstanding aims. These women have been, are or will become Presidents or Deans of Bar Associations or of leading Lawyer organizations worldwide. They do a great job and are definitely first-class role models”.
